The meeting which was chaired by Chief J.A. Shogo, the Chairman of the Elders Committee of the All Progressives Congress,APC, in Offa LGA, had in attendance, the State Publicity Secretary of APC, Alhaji Tajudeen Folaranmi Aro; Member representing Essa/Shawo/Igboidun constituency, KWHA, Hon Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yussuf; Commissioner for Enterprise, Alhaji Wahab Femi Agbaje; Chairman APC Offa LGA, Alhaji AbdulLateef Afolayan; Suspended Offa Local Government Council Chairman, Arc AbduLateef Gbadamosi; former TIC Chairman, Hon AbduLateef Olatunji; Chief Kayode Adebiyi; Offa LGA APC Executives, Wards Chairmen and major stakeholders.
OBSERVATIONS/RESOLUTIONS
During the interactive session, the Stakeholders raised the following issues and resolved accordingly.
- The APC in Offa LGA observed with satisfaction the performance of the Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq to the people, the community and party members, thus recognizes Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq as the Leader of the party and associate with his vision and agenda towards taking Kwara State to a prosperous level.
- The party observed some misrepresentations exhibited by certain political actors resident in Ilorin and resolved unequivocally that anyone who refuses to come home and participate in ward activities shall be sactioned.
- It was unequivocally resolved that the trio of Alhaji Tajudeen Folaranmi Aro, Hon Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yussuf and Alhaji Wahab Femi Agbaje shall be the representatives of APC for Offa Local Government Area for the purpose of receiving any entitlement due to the party.
- The party passed a vote of confidence on its Chairman, Alhaji AbdulLateef Afolayan for his leadership.
- The party equally commended the ward Chairmen for their commitment and resilience in upholding the party.
